Returns Policy for our Products

Thank you for choosing INITIALLED for your personalised jewellery needs. We take pride in creating custom pieces made uniquely for you. Please take a moment to read through our returns policy to ensure a smooth experience.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of personalised jewellery, we regret to inform you that we cannot accept returns or exchanges on:
  • Items that have been stamped with lettering, numbering, zodiac signs or any other personalisation as per your order;
  • Items where no clear instruction* was provided as to the placement of initials and INITIALLED personalised in keeping with the brand and their expertise;
  • Customised designs, including altered materials, sizes or bespoke requests. 
  • However, if there is a problem with your order please contact us for assistance.

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for a change of mind, or for minor imperfections that are a result of the handmade process, provided these are in line with the product description and photos. Each item in our shop is lovingly crafted by hand, meaning no two pieces are exactly alike. We believe these charming variations are what make our products special and add to their unique character. Minor differences in shape, colour, lettering or finish, are expected and are a natural result of the handmade process. This is not a defect, but a testament to the individual artistry of your piece.

Returns for Non-Customised Items

If you have purchased a non-customised item and would like to return it, we offer returns or exchanges under the following conditions:
  • The item must be unworn, undamaged, and in its original packaging.

  • Returns must be initiated within 14 days of receiving your order.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your jewellery arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order with:
  • A clear description of the issue.

  • Photos of the defective or damaged item. We will review your case promptly and offer an appropriate solution, which may include a replacement, repair, or a refund.

6 Month Guarantee

We are committed to providing high-quality, lasting jewellery. Therefore, we offer a 6-month guarantee on all products for:

Colour FadingIf the colour of your jewellery significantly fades due to manufacturing issues within 6 months of purchase, we will repair or replace the item at no additional cost.

BreakagesShould your jewellery break under normal usage conditions within 6 months of purchase, we will repair or replace it free of charge.

Please note that the guarantee does not cover:
  • Damage caused by misuse, improper care, or accidents.
  • Minor scratches, tarnishing (which doesn't relate to colour), or normal wear and tear.

Process for Returns


Please reach out to us at hello@initialled.co.uk, via the chat function or contact form on the website to initiate a return or report a defect. Include your order number and details of the issue.

Approval and Instructions

Our customer service team will provide further instructions for the return process, including shipping details.


Shipping costs

Unless the item is defective or we made an error, the customer will be responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure safe delivery.

Inspection and Refund 

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process a refund or replacement within 7 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. 

Important Notes

Sale items are final and not eligible for returns or exchanges.Personalised jewellery that contains errors made by the customer (such as typos or incorrect details provided during order placement) cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged. Please carefully review your order details before confirming.

Minor variations in materials and design are natural in handcrafted jewellery and are not considered defects.
